What is our government doing to help folks in Foreclosure?
February 29th 2008 07:55 pm
In a recent article on MSNBC, a new program from the federal government was highlighted.
This program started on February 12, 2008 and helps delay foreclosure another 30 days.
You can read the full text of this MSNBC article here on this blog.
If you have not gotten this info from your lender you need to call them and ask if you qualify since getting another 30 day delay may give you enough time to figure out a way to get current.
I have a client that used this time to have a garage sale on Click here for eBay!’ , got a parttime job delivering flowers and made enough to give the lender 1 months mortgage payment and then got back on track with the payments as the lender allowed him to put the rest of the arrears at the end of the current mortgage term.
Again, read the article here http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23118645/ and let us know what you think, especially if this worked for you and helped you save your house.
